I think this is one of the oldest and most popular of the Smithsonians to visit.
The elephant is the symbol of this museum
I only went to see a few displays mainly in the Gem section.
The Hope Diamond is the largest blue diamond at 45.5 Ct and it is from India. I just remembered the worlds largest diamond is on display at this museum, but it's the Hope Diamond that keeps me returning to this museum.
