Everyones Favorite and the most photographed animal at the zoo the Panda. This sumer the female Panda gave birth to a baby Panda. When a Panda is born it is quite small, I believe around one pound. This cub has grown quite a bit. Panda's are on loan to the US to promote breeding and research, they will eventually return to China and new one's will be sent to us.
I was not able to photograph the parents, they were visitble but mainly their torso and were resting in a cool rock shelter
